GIN Members contribute immensely to the field of guideline science. GIN has two distinctions to recognise those members who have shown significant contributions and excellence in the field as well as to the GIN community:
FGIN (Fellow of the Guidelines International Network): Awarded to members of GIN for individual accomplishments in evidence-based medicine and contributions to GIN. Provides professional recognition and allows the use of postnominals FGIN.

MGIN (Mastership of the Guidelines International Network): A rare distinction for longstanding members who have significantly impacted GIN and contributed to guideline science and leadership. Allows the use of postnominals MGIN.
