GIN is delighted to invite you to join us for our 17th annual conference, an opportunity for our members and colleagues across the guideline world to network, connect and collaborate.

Our 2022 event will take place from 21 – 24 September and we are excited to bring you a comprehensive, relevant and on-topic program delivered by many esteemed speakers and experts.

The conference is being hosted by McMaster University, and will be held at the Westin Harbour Castle Hotel and Convention Centre, located directly on the shores of beautiful Lake Ontario.

Founded in 1887, McMaster University is consistently ranked in the top 75 globally and its Faculty of Health Sciences is in the world’s top 50. A research-intensive public university, McMaster is dedicated to teaching, learning and service.

The theme for 2022 is: Making health choices transparent, equitable and efficient: strengthening global guideline quality, technology, collaboration and adaptation

  • Efficiency in Guideline Development

Pre-Conference Courses – 21 September

Registration for the following pre-conference courses is now closed.

  • Making efficient use of limited resource: an introduction to health economics in guidelines – delivered by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE)
  • Storytelling Clinical Guidance to Consumers: An Approach to Facilitate Uptake and Use of Clinical Guidance to Consumers and Non-Scientific Populations delivered by ebase Africa.
  • INGUIDE Program: Level 2 – Guideline Methodologist Course – delivered by International Guideline Credentialing and Certification (INGUIDE)
  • INGUIDE Program Level 3 – Master Guideline Developer and Chair – delivered by International Guideline Credentialing and Certification (INGUIDE)

Please note that both INGUIDE courses will start on Tuesday 20th September at 14:00 and will continue on 21 September.
