Clinical Epidemiology and Evidence-Based Medicine Unit Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital

Clinical Epidemiology and Evidence-Based Medicine (CEEBM) Unit was established in 2010 as a joint collaboration between Faculty of Medicine Universitas Indonesia and Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital, Jakarta, Indonesia. The main goals of CEEBM Unit is to be a center of excellence for all health care professionals, especially in Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital, by bringing research closer to the health services to achieve a better quality and more effective patients’ care in the hospitals. Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital, as the national top referral public hospital in Indonesia, has a mission to provide comprehensive, high quality, and affordable health care services for all levels of society. As one of the efforts to ensure the better health care services, the multidisciplinary group of health care professionals has developed hospital clinical practice guideline based on current scientific evidence. CEEBM Unit has a role to assist the groups in terms of the guideline development methods.
