Romina Brignardello-Petersen is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Health Research Methods, Evidence, and Impact, at McMaster University (Canada), where she serves as the Associate Chair of Education of the department. She trained as a dentist before completing an MSc and PhD in Clinical Epidemiology and Healthcare Research at the University of Toronto. Her research expertise is in evidence synthesis and practice guidelines, and she has worked as a methodologist with several groups and organizations, including the World Health Organization, the Pan-American Health Organization, the American Society of Hematology, and the American College of Rheumatologists. She is also an active member of the GRADE Working Group, where she leads the Network Meta-Analysis project group.
