Luciane Lopes holds a degree in Pharmacy and Biochemistry and a PhD in Clinical Pharmacology. She is a Postgraduate Course in Pharmaceutical Sciences professor at the University of Sorocaba, São Paulo, Brazil, in Evidence to Inform Health Policies and Health Technology Assessment. She was a consultant for the WHO in Geneva, Africa, and PAHO. She coordinated the National List of Essential Medicines in Brazil for six years. She leads the SERIEMA-EVIPNet-Brazil Evidence Center and is president of the International Society of Pharmacoepidemiology LATAM group.
She is the author of more than 190 publications. She is part of an essential initiative in Brazil, mapping the evidence ecosystem and collaborating with the Brazilian HTA Network, EvipNet and the Ministry of Health and Citizenship in the Federal Governor’s Office.
