As Director of Clinical Guidelines and Population Health at the American College of Physicians (ACP), Kate is responsible for supervising activities and strategic work related to the Division of Clinical Policy’s clinical guidelines and population health programs. With over a decade of experience in managing the development of clinical policies, she has been a key collaborator in establishing the ACP Centers for Evidence Reviews program and operationalizing a broad array of program and methodological initiatives. Such efforts include the development of a rigorous disclosures of interests and management of conflicts of interests policy, implementation and evaluation of ACP’s public involvement program, incorporation of economic evidence into clinical recommendations, and the development of living and rapid clinical policies. She has served on the Guidelines International Network North America Steering Committee since 2022.
