Julia Schroer holds a Master’s degree in Health Economics and is a Research Associate pursuing her PhD in Health Sciences at the Institute of Public Health at the University of Cologne, Germany. As a member of the Cochrane Haematology Review Group, her work focuses on evidence-based medicine in oncology and hematology, with expertise in systematic review methodology and guideline development. She provides methodological support to the European Hematology Association (EHA) in the development of several clinical practice guidelines, ensuring adherence to high methodological standards and transparency throughout the process. Moreover, Julia’s research interests include the prioritization of oncologic agents for the WHO Model List of Essential Medicines, the development of exemplary applications and evaluation of criteria for listing.
