Chiara Arienti is an Assistant Professor at the Clinical Epidemiology Research Centre (CERC), Department of Biomedical Sciences, Humanitas University, Milan, Italy. She is also a GRADE Working Group Member, Unit Chair of Cochrane Thematic Group on Rehabilitation, Functioning and Disability, Associated Editor of JBI Evidence Implementation, Editorial Board Member of the International Journal of Osteopathic Medicine, and a European PRM Journal Statistical Advisor.

She earned a PhD in Biomedical Research and Translational Medicine, with particular attention to the challenges of real-world evidence in improving global health in the rehabilitation field. Her current research line is improving methodology in rehabilitation research and public health with a specific focus on leading research in public health related to the osteopathic and rehabilitation field. She is also working on projects related to developing and assessing clinical practice guidelines. Over time, she has acquired extensive experience in systematic reviews of rehabilitation interventions, leading methodological work, and completing and supporting systematic reviews and guidelines development inside Cochrane Rehabilitation.
