The GIN Board is committed to making our conference as accessible as possible for active GIN members and has put a budget aside to fully support three members from low or lower-middle income countries to fully participate in the conference.
The grant will cover flights to Geneva, accommodation, registration and visa fees.
Active members of GIN are invited to apply for a grant to attend the GIN 2025 conference in Geneva this September. Only members both living and working/studying in a LMIC are eligible.
The applications will be assessed on the following basis:
- The quality of the contents of the application and the grounds for application
- How engaged the applicant is with GIN: whether they are a member of a working group, regional community, sub-committee, or task force of the network and how long they have been a member
- How many and the type of abstracts submitted by the applicant have been accepted.
Priority will be given to new applicants, who have not previously benefitted from GIN support.
