It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Markus Follmann of the German Cancer Society and the German Guideline Program in Oncology, a valued and long-standing member of the Guidelines International Network.
Markus was an active and highly respected member of our community, contributing over many years with great commitment, professionalism, and generosity. He will be remembered not only for his important work on the Guideline Program in Oncology, but also for the warmth, kindness, humour, and collegiality he brought to our international network.
On behalf of the Guidelines International Network’s Board of Trustees and the Secretariat, we extend our sincere condolences to Markus’s family, friends, and colleagues at this difficult time. He will be greatly missed.
