The GIN Board is committed to making our conference as accessible as possible for active GIN members and as every year we have offered conference and travel bursaries to members from low or lower-middle income countries to participate in the conference. In a significant step toward fostering inclusivity and global collaboration, GIN proudly announces the winners of our LMIC Conference Participation Gants for 2025.
Originally designed to support three awardees, the grant programme was expanded, enabling us to support four in-person attendees and one virtual attendee. This expansion reflects GIN’s commitment to equitable access and the belief that diverse voices enrich the dialogue and outcomes of the conference.
The grant covers key expenses such as travel, accommodation, and registration fees, allowing recipients to fully engage with the conference programme, network with peers, and share insights from their local contexts. Awardees hailed from a range of countries and disciplines, bringing fresh perspectives and valuable contributions to the discussions. This initiative continues GIN’s ongoing work to promote global equity and accessibility.
