In 2025, the GIN Annual Conference took place at the Geneva Exhibition and Trade Centre (PALEXPO) in Switzerland. The conference theme was “Innovation and Partnerships for Health in All Policies.”

The programme addressed critical health challenges through innovation and cross-sector partnerships, featuring sessions led by renowned speakers and experts from around the world. The conference spotlighted transformative approaches that advance health and well-being globally.

Geneva, as the home to many international NGOs and health-focused organisations, with strong international connectivity and its commitment to sustainability, made the city the ideal venue for GIN2025.

Every GIN Conference includes a number of enjoyable (and optional) social events that run alongside the official conference program, from networking drinks through to pre-breakfast running sessions!

We are grateful for the following warm words from attendees of the 2025 Conference:

The conference provided a unique opportunity to engage with a diverse community of experts from around the world who are committed to advancing guideline development and evidence-informed health decision-making.Joanna Khabsa, one of the 2025 winners of the LMIC Travel Grant.

What an unforgettable experience the Guidelines International Network Conference has been! Beyond the sessions and presentations, it was the people who truly made the difference – connecting, sharing ideas, and building bridges across countries and disciplines.

This congress offered a global perspective on guidelines, while at the same time enriching my understanding of how we can strengthen and adapt them nationally. Meeting passionate professionals from all over the world reminded me why collaboration and dialogue are at the hear of improving health care and evidence-based practice.

I return home energized, inspired, and grateful – carrying not just new knowledge, but also new friendships and a renewed sense of purpose.Daniëlle Conijn, 2025 Conference attendee
