Trained in human sciences, Corinna is in the guideline buisiness since more than 18 years. Currently (since October 2024), she is head of the Health Care and Guidelines department at the German Institute for Quality and Efficiency in Health Care. Until 2024 she was working at the German Agency for Quality in Medicine (ÄZQ) as deputy director, head of the evidence-based medicine and guidelines department and head of the patient information department; at ÄZQ, she was responsible for the National Disease Management Guidelines Program. One focus of her work is patient and public involvement in guidelines, clinical and shared decision making and communicating guidelines.
2010-2020 she was chair of the GIN PUBLIC Working Group; from 2019-2024 she chaired the German Health Literacy Network, and from 2020-2024 she was a member of the AWMF’s standing commission for clinical practice guidelines.
