Kate Loveys (PhD, Ngāti Raukawa ki te Tonga) is a Senior Research Fellow at the Department of Paediatrics: Child and Youth Health at the University of Auckland School of Medicine in Auckland, New Zealand.
Kate’s research involves evidence synthesis, guideline development, and qualitative research to inform evidence-based management of paediatric respiratory conditions, including bronchiolitis, emergency intubation, and asthma.
Kate is an active member of the Paediatric Research in Emergency Departments International Collaborative (PREDICT) Network. She is also Deputy Chair of the LiFePATH Research Translation Group at the Liggins Institute, which is a multidisciplinary group focused on developing clinical practice guidelines. She is a also member of the GIN ANZ Executive Committee and the Paediatric Society of New Zealand Scientific Committee.
