Dr. Yinghui Jin is co-director of the Center for Evidence-Based and Translational Medicine, Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University.
Commissioned by the National Health Commission of the People’s Republic of China, Dr. Jin led three national projects introducing modern evidence-based methodology for guideline development and implementation evaluation. Her pioneering work in computable guidelines resulted in a national invention patent for a new CPG ontology construction and evaluation system (2024).
In 2025, she launched the first national Ontology-oriented Knowledge for Clinical Practice Guideline (OKCPG) platform, enabling standardized knowledge representation and substantially improving development efficiency for guideline groups across China. Dr. Jin has contributed to more than 80 national and international guidelines across diverse clinical areas.
A defining achievement occurred in February 2020, when she served as the methodology lead, completing the first evidence-based rapid COVID-19 guideline in China within nine days, now cited over 3,120 times in Google Scholar. This rapid CPG provided critical guidance to clinicians in the earliest phase of the pandemic.
Dr. Jin has published 117 articles in English-language journals, with 39 of these listing her as first or corresponding author. Her achievements have earned her recognition as the sole faculty member from the Wuhan University School of Medicine to receive both the National Changjiang Young Scholar (2023) and the National Young Qihuang Scholar (2025) awards. She has also won two Provincial Science and Technology Progress Prizes, and has been listed among Stanford University’s Top 2% Scientists for three consecutive years (2022 – 2025).
