Dr. Jiri Kantor is the director and co-founder of the JBI Center for Evidence-based Education and Arts Therapies at Palacky University Olomouc (Czech Republic) and the GRADE for Education group (GRADE Working Group). He has developed close cooperation with leading institutions in education, e.g., the Education Endowment Foundation, the Polish Educational Research Institute, and many others.
His main expertise is in education, special education, and arts therapies, with long-term practice and research experience. At Faculty of Education (Palacky University Olomouc), he is responsible for two university study programs and the development of research competencies of students in doctoral study programs. In research, he focuses on various methodologies for evidence synthesis and implementation, as well as on qualitative methodology. Recently, he has focused on the contextualization of methodologies for evidence synthesis, guideline development, and implementation in the educational field, as well as on promoting the shift towards evidence-based education in the Czech Republic.
Dr. Jiri Kantor has authored over 90 publications indexed in Web of Science, more than 250 citations, H-index of 9 (according to Web of Science).
