This award acknowledges an individual’s contribution to innovation in the methodology, development, and /or implementation of clinical practice guidelines. Previous winners of the Najoua Mlika-Cabanne award have included individuals who have made significant contributions to patient involvement in guidelines, the evidence ecosystem and the development of threshold analysis for low quality evidence.

The award is named in memory of Dr Najoua Mlika-Cabanne ,Trustee of the Guidelines International Network between 2003 and 2010, and GIN Honorary Patron. Najoua died in 2011.
