As team lead with the Knowledge Institute of Medical Specialists (since 2015), I have the honour of coaching and guiding my ten wonderful team members. Next to that, as senior advisor, I am lead on projects ranging from CPG development (e.g. Elderly abuse and DSD) and evaluating CPG Transgender Care to developing thematic quality plans for medical specialist associations such as cardiologists, geriatricians, and pathologists. Additionally, I am responsible for enhancing implementation knowledge and skills within our institute. In this last capacity, I am a member of three program committees that review health research proposals, and one that supervises guideline development within the nursing profession in the Netherlands.
Furthermore, I am daily supervisor of two enthusiastic PhD students (one on patient decision aids and the other on guideline development training). I finished my own PhD on knowledge translation (tools) with Maastricht University in 2020.
Previously, I have worked with the Department of Health, the National Health Care Institute, ZonMw (health research funding agency) as well as Accenture Consulting. My study background includes Business Economics, Social-Cultural Sciences and Healthcare Sciences.
Since 2012, I have been involved with GIN WG AID Knowledge and since 2016 also with GIN WG Implementation. LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/in/dunjadreesens/
