The G-I-N Chair, Amir Qaseem, was involved in an effort started by the Council of Medical Specialty Societies in the US regarding standards for guidelines. This council represents thirtynine societies with an aggregate membership of 700,000 US physicians. He co-authored these standards and they are attached.
