The Guidelines International Network (G-I-N) and the G-I-N North America guideline community presents the next in its webinar series, Innovations/Tools - "The Evidence-to-decision Framework"

Guideline panels seek improved explicitness and transparency when moving from a consideration of research evidence to the development of recommendations.  Increasingly, they are also expected to seek a structured approach to including extra-evidentiary and non-evidentiary considerations as well as the richness of panel deliberations when communicating guidance to their stakeholder audience.  The GRADE Evidence to Decision (EtD) framework was developed to address many of these needs.  This presentation reviews the use of the EtD for the development of de novo guidelines as well as the application of "adolopment" for adopting/adapting trustworthy guidelines and systematic reviews for local application.
