Information and Nominations
Nominations now open for the 2020 award
Nominations to recognise and reward an early-career individual are welcomed from G-I-N organisational members.
An award committee comprised of guideline experts is selected by the Board of Trustees. The Award Committee is comprised of up to seven members including a chair, a Board liaison, and a geographically diverse representation of G-I-N guideline experts from differing professional backgrounds. The committee sets and applies selection criteria to select a nominee, whom they recommend to the Board of Trustees, with whom the final decision rests.
Nomination eligibility
The individual will be in the early stage of their guideline career and will have demonstrated extraordinary talent, potential and efforts in innovation in the methodology, development and/or implementation of clinical practice guidelines.
Current members of the Board and G-I-N staff are not eligible for nomination. If a member of the award committee is nominated, they will be required to recuse themselves from the committee. Nominees are required to be G-I-N members and self-nomination is not allowed. Shortlisted nominees will be re-considered for up to two years.
