The 11th Guideline Development Workshop: focus on GRADE for Intervention - Orlando, Florida, USA

25 - 27 September 2019

The Guideline Development Workshop is sponsored by the U.S. GRADE network, an entity of the GRADE working group. The U.S. GRADE network mission is to conduct both basic and advanced GRADE workshops to disseminate best practices in guideline development as well as train GRADE methodologists.

The U.S. GRADE network serves as the nucleus for enhanced collaboration with other US-based institutions such as the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) supported Evidence-Based Practice Centers (EPCs), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the US Cochrane Center and branches, among others.

This workshop will facilitate the basic principles of guideline methodology, including how to critically appraise the evidence, grade the quality of the evidence, and move from evidence to recommendations by using GRADE.

EBHC International Joint Conference 2019

9th International Conference for Evidence-based Healthcare Teachers and Developers

8th Conference of the International Society for Evidence-Based Health Care

Taormina (Italy), 6th – 10th November 2019

The Conference will focus on the future challenges faced by the ecosystem of evidence to connect generation, synthesis and translation of evidence to individuals and populations. Internationally renowned EBHC champions will trace the way forward through the ecosystem of evidence, dozens of researchers will present the findings from their studies, and their experience in teaching and disseminating EBHC.

The 3-day program that will include a unique panel of speakers, oral presentations, poster sessions, workshops and exciting small group sessions to encourage discussion and the development of new ideas. 21st International Symposium on Recent Advances in Otitis Media ISOM 2021 - Tel Aviv, Israel

6 - 9 June 2021

 

Israel is among the leading countries in Otitis Media (OM) research, with a broad range of reports from pathophysiology to treatment options and complications. Israeli OM aspects are studied by an array of investigators: pediatricians and infectious diseases specialists, otolaryngologists, family physicians, basic science researchers, epidemiologists, speech pathologists and psychologists.

 

Holding this important Symposium in Tel Aviv will provide an excellent opportunity to host our friends and colleagues from around the world. Our Bi-yearly meeting has traditionally combined great scientific content with a tremendous opportunity to see and taste the diverse and beautiful flavors of Israel.

 

In 2021, an outstanding gallery of speakers from all over the world will participate and share with us the most significant advances in otitis media. Together with the local scientific and medical community, we are doing our utmost in preparing an unforgettable and memorable Symposium, in full cooperation with ISOM.
