2019 Adelaide

The 2019 conference took place in Adelaide from 30th October to 2nd November 2019 at the newly expanded, state of the art, Adelaide Convention Centre.
The conference theme was:


The value of guidelines in 21st century healthcare

2019 was a joint conference with the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI), and the local hosts were the University of South Australia.

2018 GIN Manchester

The 2018 conference took take place in Manchester, United Kingdom, from 12th to 14th September 2018 and was co-hosted by two founder members: NICE (The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence) and SIGN (Scottish Intercollegiate Guidelines Network).

The theme of the conference was “Why we do what we do: the purpose and impact of guidelines”,

2016 GIN Philadelphia

The 2016 conference took place on Penn University Campus in Philadelphia from 27th – 30th September and was co-hosted by three organisational members: the American College of Physicians, the ECRI Institute and Penn Medicine.

The theme of the conference was “Individualised guidelines and clinical performance in an era of personalised medicine.”

LMIC Grants Awarded

Our annual conference is at the centre of GIN’s strategy around networking and provides the opportunity for all those who work with guidelines in health and care to come together; from development and methodology through to implementation and evaluation.

However, we do recognise that funding is not always available to those members from lower income countries and each year we strive to ensure our conferences are accessible as possible for those members by offering grants which provide the opportunity to be involved in discussions on a wide range of issues.
